Become a member of the Westside Neighborhood Association (WNA) and help support the programs, events, advocacy, and community initiatives that make Westside a stronger neighborhood
Resident Membership
Membership is open to individuals age 18 or older whose primary residence is within the Westside Neighborhood Association boundaries, including both homeowners and renters.
Membership is individual, not per household or property. Each Resident Member in good standing receives one vote in WNA membership matters and elections.
Annual dues are $25 per person for residents ages 18-64 and are due in full at the time of application. Residents 65 and older are exempt from dues.
No resident will be excluded because of an inability to pay. To request a dues waiver, contact president@westsideneighborhood.com or (540) 529-6026.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open to businesses, organizations, and nonresident property owners who wish to support the Westside Neighborhood Association.
Associate Members are encouraged to participate in WNA meetings, events, programs, and community initiatives.
Associate Members do not have voting rights in WNA membership matters or elections.
Associate Membership provides a way to support and stay involved with the Westside community without Resident Member voting privileges.
Additional Donations: Members are welcome to contribute more than the annual membership fee and may designate additional donations toward current WNA initiatives, including: green infrastructure & beautification, community events, education & educator support, or other current neighborhood projects
Nonprofit Status: The Westside Neighborhood Association is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in South Carolina. Receipts for membership dues and donations are available upon request. Tax deductibility depends on applicable federal tax rules and the nature of the contribution.
Age 65+ or need a dues waiver?
Residents age 65 and older are exempt from annual dues. Residents experiencing financial hardship may also request a waiver.
