Westside is a special community, shaped by the people who live here, look out for one another, and care about where our neighborhood is headed. WNA brings neighbors together, creates opportunities to connect, and strengthens the sense of community that makes Westside such a special place to call home.
Joining the Westside Neighborhood Association means having a voice in what happens in your neighborhood and helping turn community priorities into action. Your membership supports neighborhood events, school partnerships, street trees and beautification, pedestrian and safety improvements, and advocacy with the City on the issues that affect our daily lives.
WNA is a place to connect, share ideas, lend a hand, and get to know the people who make Westside what it is. The more neighbors who participate, the stronger our community and our collective voice become.

Who We Are
The Westside Neighborhood Association is a volunteer-led group of residents dedicated to strengthening and connecting our community. We work together to keep neighbors informed, support local schools and businesses, improve our streets and green spaces, and advocate for thoughtful growth.
Our goal is simple: to help Westside remain a welcoming, vibrant neighborhood where people know one another, look out for one another, and take pride in where they live. We believe strong neighborhoods are built through collaboration, communication, and community spirit.
Westside History & Future Vision Survey
We are grateful that Keelin Love is leading the charge to help preserve and document the history of the Westside neighborhood and plan for its future. Keelan has long been an advocate for the community and the stories that make Westside unique.
As we look toward future opportunities, including a potential Area Character Appraisal with the Historic Charleston Foundation and the Preservation Society, we want to hear directly from residents. This document also serves as a benchmarking document for where we are and what residents hope to see in the future.
